Continuing our journey through the Mamaroneck bars in White Plains, this time we stop at Elements Restaurant & Bar for brunch.

They do have a bottomless mimosa option for an additional $12.

The menu is standard brunch selections, pancakes, eggs benedict, omelete, french toast.

General consensus was that the food was merely blah. Just not well executed at all. I had ordered an omelete of mushrooms, spinach and sausage. What I got was a mushroom and spinach omelete wrapped around a sausage. Yes, it was wrapped around a sausage. Interesting interpretation no? My meal also came with homefries and toast. The homefries were a mixture of potatoes and peppers. Mine were cold in the center of the pile. Oh dear….

We had also started with orders of Truffle smoked gouda curly fries. Fancy right? It was literally curly fries (crisp and well fried) doused in a cheese sauce. Something I would like during a happy hour outing, however with a less fancy name.

The eggs benedict came with eggs well poached and were generally disappointing.

The breakfast wrap looked like the only choice that came out somewhat decent.

The czar says: Elements has a decent dinner offering, especially during warmer sunnier days when the rooftop area is open. But for breakfast, no. Definitely not their strength.
